Wahla Farms has a rich history rooted in the fertile lands of Ahdian village, located in Pakistani Punjab. This region was part of the historic Sanjha Punjab before the partition of India and Pakistan in the area of KALAR which was specifically declared for the dining rice for Mughal and British Palaces. KALAR area is the belt between the Ravi and the Chenab rivers, comprising the Ahdian, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Sheikhupura districts in Punjab known for its white soil. KALAR BASMATI is only available in PAKISTAN in whole south asia and its Pakistan’s identity. KALAR Basmati has been and till date being exported to UK for its very finest quality, whereas Pakistan has been getting INDIAN origin & seeded Basmati (1121- Kainat). Wahla Farms located at middle center of Kaalar Belt in Ahdian, Narang Mandi preserving the taste of its nature. We are proud to be the ONLY company providing the authentic KALAR BASMATI—a rice variety historically enjoyed by the Mughals and the British in their palaces. With an 8,000-year history, KAALAR BASMATI is the original basmati seed, grown in the white soils of the Kalar region. This unique rice has been the foundation for creating new basmati varieties like Sella 1121, Super Basmati, PK786, and 19 others. Since its inception in 1986, Wahla Farms now instead of exporting all, providing Pakistani people get the original taste of KALAR BASMATI which is the speciality of Pakistan in whole 4 south asian region dedicated to upholding the cherished values and culinary traditions of Sanjha Punjab along with the same taste of KALAR rice as delivered on “Shahi” tables. Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Dilawar Khan Wahla, we began our journey with rice cultivation and expanded into wheat farming over the years. Now under the standards of IRRC & NARC, Wahla farms has launched the Product line of AHDII RICE, with these products under it.
