Platform: Chaicon.com (the “Platform”)

Data Controller: Rivoh LLC-FZ (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) (“Rivoh”),

Local Operating Partner: Azad Chaiwala SMC (Private) Limited (Pakistan) may process information to operate and support the Platform.

Contracting entity: Unless stated otherwise, these Terms are between you and Rivoh, and the Local Operator may enforce these Terms on Rivoh’s behalf and/or in its own name where applicable.

Rivoh and the Local Operator are referred to collectively as “ChaiCon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Platform.

1. What we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account details (name, email, phone, password or authentication method)
• Business details (company name, city, categories, descriptions, media)
• Listings and Buyer Requests (including any contact information you choose to publish).
• Messages or enquiries you send to other Users (where applicable).
• Support requests and communications.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and browser data, IP address, identifiers,
• Usage data (pages viewed, clicks, search terms, timestamps),
• Cookies or similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

1.3 Public information you choose to publish

If you post a Buyer Request or publish contact details in a Listing, that information is public by design. You control what you publish, but once public, it may be copied or shared by others beyond our control.

2) How we use information

We use information to:

• Operate and improve the Platform,
• Display Listings and Buyer Requests as you configure them,
• Connect Buyers and Sellers,
• Provide support and communicate service updates,
• Detect fraud, abuse, spam, and security threats,
• Generate aggregated insights (for example, search trends, category demand, city-level activity),
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Listing Rules.

3) Legal basis (practical wording)

Where applicable, we process data based on:

• Your consent (especially for what you choose to publish publicly),
• Performance of a contract (providing the Platform you requested),
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics, improving the Platform),
• Legal compliance.

4) How we share information

We may share information:

• Publicly, when you choose to publish it (Listings and Buyer Requests),
• With service providers (hosting, analytics, security, email/SMS/WhatsApp delivery, customer support tools) who process data on our behalf,
• With legal authorities if required to comply with law or valid legal requests,
• To protect rights, safety, and security of the Platform, Users, or the public,
• In a business transfer (merger, acquisition, restructuring, partnerships) where data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

We do not sell your personal data as a business model (unless you explicitly opt into a program that clearly states otherwise).

5) Aggregated research insights

We may publish or show insights derived from Platform activity (including search trends and category demand). These are typically aggregated. However, you acknowledge:

• Data cannot always be perfectly anonymized in every scenario,
• Public posts are public by design, and can be referenced by others.

6) Cookies and tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in,
• Remember preferences,
• Measure traffic and performance,
• Allow Sellers to measure visits and lead actions on their own public profile and product pages when they add validated third-party tracking IDs,
• Detect fraud and abuse.

Seller-added tracking is generated from approved platform IDs only. We do not publish arbitrary tracking scripts submitted by Sellers.

7) Data retention

We keep data as long as needed to:

• Operate the Platform
• Comply with legal obligations,
• Resolve disputes and enforce policies,
• Maintain security and prevent abuse.

Public content may remain visible until removed by you (if controls exist) or by us under our Terms, and may remain in backups for a limited period.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data. However, no system is perfectly secure. You accept that you publish public contact details at your own risk

9) International transfers

If we use service providers or hosting outside Pakistan, your information may be processed in other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections.

10) Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access or update certain data,
• Request deletion (where legally possible),
• Withdraw consent for certain processing,
• Object to certain processing.
